Shutter Island a review

Director: Martin Scorsese
Writer: Laeta Kalogridis
Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow, Jackie Earle Haley
It's safe to say that the relationship in movies between Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese has been a very successful one for that awesome director - Gangs of New York got 10 Oscar nominations, The Aviator got 11 and won 5, and The Departed got 5 nominations and won 4. So pretty much all the news that Scorsese and DiCaprio are on to something should be something that you don't want to miss. also, when they team up to to deliver an awesome novel by the brilliant write Dennis Lehane , i would put my money that it would at least get some oscar nominations. Shutter Island follows two U.S. Marshalls (DiCaprio and Ruffalo) who were trapped by a hurricane on a Massachusetts island as they hunt for a mental patient with a violent past that have escaped from a nearby asylum with an equally violent past. the acting was very convincing, however, it sometimes gets to a point where you get all confused, but as you follow with the story everything explains itself. a must see for sure!
